The 2nd Annual Triangle Open Data Day (TODD) is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the NC School of Engineering.
An initiative of TechTank, TODD unites developers, data analysts, civic leaders, students and activists in a weekend of learning, liberating data and building applications to display useful information.
Examples of Open Data applications:
- Find a parking spot
- Crime Heat Map
- Community water usage
- Where’s My School Bus
TODD has two tracks – Education and Hackathon. It’s also a great day of networking. The inaugural event last year drew nearly 100 people. This year’s event at NC State has capacity for about 300.
Triangle Open Data Day is a part of International Open Data Day. Find out more or register for TODD 2014 at TriangleOpenDataDay.org.
