The idea behind Code for America (CfA) is “hacking for public good” – developing civic apps that can be used across municipalities in America.
In Cary, the brigade meets once a month at Oakhaven Coworking. Current project is developing an app to link development data to a Google Map, answering the age-old question “what’s going on with all the bulldozers in my neighborhood.”
Cary’s CfA Brigade, known as Code for Cary, is free and open to all. It’s part of the larger Triangle CfA Division, with groups in Raleigh, Durham and elsewhere.
