Free and Open Source Software Fair

Raleigh, NC – The Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) Fair has opened registration for their event to be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at NCSU. This is an unconference specifically for free and open source software!

It is completely driven by you, the participants. Any topic relating to Free and Open Source Software is welcome.

The event is to promote FOSS to students and open to the public.

FOSS Event Details

  • What: The Free and Open Source Software Fair
  • When: Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)
  • Where: Engineering Building II (EB II) on NC State’s Centennial Campus, 890 Oval Drive, Raleigh NC 27606
  • Why: Learn about any topic relating to Free and Open Source Software
  • FOSS Registration Site
  • Register to make sure that you are included in the lunch plans!

FOSS Schedule

  • 8:30 AM: Coffee and bagels (sponsored by Red Hat)
  • 9:00 AM: Opening session and talk proposals
  • 10:00 AM: Sessions begin!
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch (sponsored by Red Hat)
  • 1:00 PM: More sessions!
  • 5:00 PM: Fair ends
