Triangle Open Data Day Recap

Raleigh, NC – Thank you to everyone that registered and participated in Triangle Open Data Day (TODD). We have been told that TODD was the biggest Open Data event in the world, so we are going to go with that! We had a total of 308 registrations and we wrote about 20 badges for those who had not officially registered.

Please remember to thank all of our sponsors – MetLife, DZone, AIS, Red Hat, Socrata, Code for America, NCSU College of Engineering and the CodeAcross National sponsors, ESRI and Microsoft. Without our sponsors we would not have been able to put on such a great event.

Our Presenting Sponsor, MetLife, also passes along their Thank You for attending.

Open Data Day in the Triangle has grown from 80 attendees last year at Cary Open Data Day to over 300 this year at Triangle Open Data Day. We have plans to make the event even bigger next year so let us know what you want to see and better yet, let us know if you want to be on the 2015 planning committee.
