Triangle Takes Off
There’s a new buzz in the Triangle as entrepreneurship and technology cross-pollinate like never before.
Witness the expansion of American Underground and HQ Raleigh. Google’s been making its presence felt with the first public debut of Google Glass and the establishment of a Google for Entrepreneurs Tech Hub in Durham.
It’s no wonder the Triangle is ranked one of the top 5 areas for technology in the United States.
Global Entrepreneurship Week
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.
These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is not one single event–it is tens of thousands of events, activities and competitions happening in more than 130 countries.
