Triangle Open Data Day Launched

RTP, NC – Technology Tank has launched the Website for Triangle Open Data Day. Mark your calendars for February 22-23, 2014. Triangle Open Data Day is in support of the annual International Open Data Hackathon expected to be on February 22, 2014.

What is the International Open Data Hackathon?

It’s a gathering of citizens in cities around the world to write applications, liberate data, create visualizations and publish analyses using open public data to show support for and encourage the adoption open data policies by the world’s local, regional and national governments.

International Open Data Hackathon is a creation of the Open Knowledge Foundation, the first held in 2010. Cary, NC joined the international event last year with the very successful Cary Open Data Day. [News: Pre-Event, Post Event]

Why Change from Cary to Triangle Open Data Day?
